As lead and co-author of over a dozen peer-reviewed publications, I am very familiar with the standard of writing required for publication in international science publications. I have published in a diverse range of fields including botany, geology, physical geography, and limnology.
I have revised the English text for manuscripts that have subsequently been published in a number of high impact journals including Quaternary Science Reviews, the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, and Marine Ecology – Progress Series.
I have also peer-reviewed manuscript for many leading science journals including Limnology & Oceanography: Methods, The Holocene, Journal of Paleolimnology, Lake and Reservoir Management, Diatom Research, and many others.
Your manuscript, your work, your results are important. At Maxafeau Editing Services, your manuscript is reviewed only by me, not given to an unknown reviewer. You therefore communicate directly with the editor of your manuscript to ensure your ideas are conveyed exactly as you wish.
In order to ensure a high quality service, I am currently enrolled in the Editing certificate program at Simon Fraser University with the aim of obtaining the recognized Editors’ Association of Canada certification. I am a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada and the Association of Earth Science Editors.
